These terms apply to thejonmac.com and to the apps and tools Jon Mac ("we", "us") runs that connect to services such as Google, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X ("our apps"). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Using this website and our apps

You may use this website and our apps for lawful purposes only. Do not try to break, overload, scrape or get unauthorized access to them, and do not use them to infringe anyone's rights.

Connected accounts

When you connect an account, you allow our apps to act on it within the permissions you approve, for example to upload videos, publish posts or read analytics. You are responsible for the content published through your accounts and for following the rules of each service. By using features that use YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You can disconnect at any time in that service's settings. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the data involved.

Content and ownership

The content of this website belongs to Jon Mac or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without permission, except as the law allows. You keep all rights to your own content. You give us permission to handle it only as needed to provide the features you use.

Third-party services

Our apps rely on services and links run by others. We are not responsible for their content, policies or availability, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

No advice and no warranty

Content on this website is general information, not financial, legal or business advice. This website and our apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of this website or our apps. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or CAD $100.

Changes and termination

We may change or stop this website or our apps at any time, and we may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms. We will post changes to these terms on this page and update the date above. Using the website or our apps after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
